This week for Daily 5 we have introduced "Work on Writing." This is a time where we get to choose the form of writing we would like to write about.  We brainstormed different types of forms and we came up with: lists, friendly letters, stories, factual writing, and poetry. Ask your child what their favorite form of writing is.  Also, ask them to tell you what work on writing looks like in the classroom.  They have done a wonderful job with this!
