Fun in the Forest!

This week during Environmental Science with Miss Holly we used an instrument called a Kestrel to measure the wind speed and air temperature.  We compared the wind speed and air temperature in the forest and the prairie.  We even roasted marshmallows in the forest!

The NED Show!

On Tuesady, November 5 the NED show visited our school.  The amazing message is this: Never Give up! Encourage Others! Do your Best! We have been incorporating this message into our classroom.  There are also yo-yos on sale this week which supports the NED show.  You may purchase yo-yos before and after school in Mrs. Shubert's and Mrs. Lameris' classroom.  Ask your child about the NED show.
