Our principal Mrs. Barrett presents us with the Eagle Class of the Week sign!

We are the Eagle Class of the Week!! This is very exciting for us! Our class was chosen based on our behavior around school and within the classroom setting.  On Friday we are allowed to wear a college sweatshirt instead of our school uniform and we each get a bag of fresh popped popcorn!! This is truly an amazing class and I am so proud of their efforts.

What a wonderful first few days of school!! I have an amazing group of students and parents. I am beyond grateful for all the donations to our classroom! Wow, thank you so much! On our first day we did many things. We learned about each others names, ask your second grader what their "adjective"is. We also began our daily 5 routine.  Ask your child what "read to self" looks like.

Below you will find a few reminders that will help you as we continue our year together:

·        * Homework comes home on Monday and is due on Friday.
·        * Due to testing during our first week we weren’t able to get to all of our math lessons, therefore  please turn the math packet of homework in next Friday, September 13 that went home on this past Tuesday.
·         *Take home folders go home every day and are returned to school each day.
·         *Please remember to encourage your child to read and fill out their reading log on a daily basis.
·         *Don’t forget to peek at their behavior calendar that is located in their take home folder.  Please initial that on Saturdays. If you have any questions please contact me!
